Lamar Lacañgan, Yogi Parker, & Paul Sciame are the founding members of O.Y.I.E. Music Inc (a non-profit organization). Our non-profit is determined to help and develop kids by strengthening them creatively as musicians, songwriters, producers or engineers. We first determine what each child is seeking to pursue within music, we then utilize each student’s individual talents and capabilities to combine for the ideal mix of musical services. The basic goal for our schools setting is to build a sense of accomplishment and help youth establish positive goals that encourage them to avoid gangs, drugs, and violence. We have already helped over 100 kids and are looking to expand into the thousands in 2008. Currently O.Y.I.E. Music works with students with behavioral disorders due to parental abandonment, neglect, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, physical abuse, and drug related disorders. Parents, & teachers have been able to see first hand how our programs have provided a safe, therapeutic, and positive outlet for youth. O.Y.I.E. Music is honored to serve our youth and will continue to uplift the futures of our communities!
